Brazelia (Cochran) Johnson

Services for Brazelia Johnson, 97, of Stonewall are 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Rev. Larry Payne will officiate. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. A Wake service will be 7:00 p.m. Monday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Johnson passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at an Ada hospital. She was born May 1, 1918 at Stonewall to Frank and Agnes Dunford Cochran. She and her family moved to this area from Wapanucka and she attended Napier School in Ada.

She married Joe M. Johnson in 1944. He preceded her in death April 21, 1994. Mrs. Johnson was a homemaker and a longtime member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Lula Fern Johnson Pitts and Marvia Johnson both of this area; two sons, Truman Johnson, Sr. and Arvell Johnson both of this area; three grandchildren, Truman Johnson, II, Chris Johnson and Timothy Johnson; and five great grandchildren, Hannah Johnson, Julie Johnson, Jase Johnson, Kaitlin Johnson and Kelsea Johnson.
