Lillian Cordelia Triplett died Dec. 22, 2000, in Davis. Born July 31, 1917, in Stonewall, Okla., she was 83.
She came to California in 1937 with her husband, Emerald Edgar Triplett. There, they raised their family. She moved to Davis in 1989 to live with her daughter, Martha Ann Lavis.
Her main interests were spending time with family and friends, canvas stitchery, going to the Davis Senior Center and going on trips.
She is survived by her 104-year-old mother, Minnie Mollybelle Ice, of Shafter; four sons, Richard Triplett and Edgar Eudell Triplett, both of Taft, Ronnie Triplett of Corning and Robert Triplett of Bakersfield; three daughters, Mary Washburn of Taft, Martha Lavis of Davis and Darlene Wenze of Bakersfield; 20 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and her cousin, Floyd "Buck" Hunter of Rio Linda.
A funeral was held Dec. 28 at the Peters Funeral Home in Shafter.
