Odessa (Walker) Roberts

Odessa Roberts, of Pauls Valley, passed away February 9, 2016 in Ada, Oklahoma at the age of 92 years.

Odessa was born June 19, 1923 in Steadman, Oklahoma to John Henry and Edna (Cotner) Walker. She was raised in the Rosedale and Pauls Valley area. She was married to Marvin Elwin Roberts in Pauls Valley, Ok on January 31, 1942. Odessa was a member of Pauls Valley Church if the Nazarene and has been a resident of The Willows for the past 10 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Edna Walker; her husband, Marvin. Odessa was the last of ten children.

Surviving family include her children, Judy D. Rogers of Purcell; Michael E. Roberts of Wanette; Phyllis T. Hoffpauir of Natchitoches, Louisiana; and Rickey L. Roberts of Pauls Valley; as well as 12 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.

Visitation for family and friends will be Friday, February 12, 2016 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Stufflebean-Coffey Chapel of Remembrance officiated by Rev. David Hoffpauir. Interment will be at Paoli Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
