Services for Jimmie Don Griffin, 71, of Fittstown are 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Fittstown First Baptist Church, Rev. Reno Dye will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Wednesday at Criswell Funeral Home.
Mr. Griffin passed away Friday, March 10, 2017 at his home. He was born July 10, 1945 at Ada to Willie Gale and Carrie Armanda Gambrell Griffin. He attended Fitzhugh grade school and graduated from Latta High School.
Mr. Griffin was a truck driver and had been a school bus driver for the McLish schools. Later, he enjoyed working on his ranch and riding his horses and attending rodeos.
Survivors include two sons, Chance Griffin and his wife Tara, and Clinton Griffin and wife Ashley; a daughter, Sheila Good and husband Justin; two brothers, Norman Griffin and wife Belinda and Richard Griffin and wife Cindy; 13 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Ina Jean Griffin.
Bearers will be Buster Greenwood, Daniel Evelly, Don Rolen, Rhett King, John Littlefield and Angelo Rubio. Honorary bearers will be Dalton King, Marco Velasco and Bob Griffin
