MARTHA "KAY" CHARLOTTE [KLOSE] KARDOKUS GEE
1915 - 2005
Martha "Kay" Charlotte Klose Kardokus Gee was born on September 9, 1915 to Charles Klose Sr. and Estelle Cromley Klose in Mifflinburg, PA; and passed from this life on June 18, 2005 in Heavner, OK at the age of 89 years, nine months, and nine days.While living in the Chickasha area, she was an active member of the Ninnekah Baptist Church. She worked in the nursery for the church and she loved to socialize. In addition to working at the church's nursery, she kept children in her home.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles Klose, Sr. and Estelle Cromley Klose; her husbands, Donald Kardokus Sr. and Russell Gee Sr.; her brothers, Charles "Bud" Klose Jr., H. L. "Brownie" Klose, and George "Jack" Klose; her sisters, Florence "Floss" Klose, Dorothy "Dot" Klose Baker, Rhoda "Toadie" Klose Bingaham, Isabel "Izzy" Klose Neid, Ruth "Babe" Klose Dean, and twin sister, Margaret "Helen" Klose Lytle; her daughter, Beth Kardokus Gee; and an infant great grandson, Caleb "Dylan" Kardokus.
She is survived by her sons, Donald "Donnie" Kardokus, Jr. of Wetumka, Daniel "Danny" and Josie Kardokus of Heavner and Joe and Emma Lou Maddox of Lookeba; a son-in-law, Russell Gee, Jr. of Ninnekah; her grandchildren Daniel "Craig" Kardokus, Jr., Daryl Kardokus, Tim Kincade, Donna Kardokus Bagwell, Florence "Betsy" Gee Phillips, Rebecca "Becky" Gee, Terrell Maddux, and Daryle Maddux. She had nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside rites will be held in the Eakly Cemetery on June 21, 2005. Grandsons and great grandsons will serve as pall bearers.
