Minnie Bartee Barton, 100, of Amarillo, formerly of Floydada, died Sunday, June 16, 2002.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Floydada Cemetery with Robert "Butch" Bullock, her nephew of Wolfforth, officiating. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St.
Mrs. Barton was born in Indian Territory, in Ardmore, Okla., to Docia and Robert M. Bullock. She married Marion Andrew Barton on Dec. 23, 1923, in Memphis. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by a son, Marion Andrew Barton Jr. in 1929; and her husband in 1986.
Survivors include a daughter, Trixie Hampton of Amarillo; two granddaughters, Patti Bradstreet and husband, Cliff, of Wheeler and Debbie Hampton and husband, Jeff, of Amarillo; six great-grandchildren, Clifton Bradstreet and wife, Dusti, and Kalli Flowers, all of Canyon, Angela Bradstreet and Jason Hampton and wife, Brandy, all of Amarillo, Shawn Bradstreet and wife, Tera, of Ada, Okla., and Dustin Hampton and wife, Lacee, of Franklin; seven great-great-grandchildren, Clinton Bradstreet, Codi Bradstreet, Matraca Bradstreet, Chase Bradstreet, Bodee Bradstreet, Britt Bradstreet and Drew Flowers; and several loving and caring nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorials be to BSA Hospice in care of Olivia's Angels, P.O. Box 950, Amarillo, TX 79176.
The family will be at 4400 Bell St. Apartment No. 203C in Amarillo.
