Services for Roxie Jane Winters, 89, of Stonewall are 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Jimmie Freeman will officiate. Burial will follow at Oakman Cemetery.
Mrs. Winters passed away Monday, November 23, 2015 in Ada. She was born April 23, 1926 at Comanche to Grady Leon and Willie Okla Mullinax Smith. She graduated from Byng High School.
She married Lindel Boyd Winters August 1944. He preceded her in death in 1997. Mrs. Winters was a homemaker. She enjoyed canning and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her son, Terry Winters and wife Wathina Wally of Ada; four daughters, Patty Freeman and husband Jimmie of Sasakwa, Marilyn Barnhart and husband David of Ada, Debbie Tumlinson and husband Don of Wolfforth, TX, and Linda Cavett and husband Morris of Cedar Hill, TX; her twelve grandchildren, Tami Williams of Moore, Tim Winters and wife Jennifer of Lubbock, TX, Tom Winters and wife Shari of Owl Creek, Melissa Dennis and husband Scott of Shawnee, Pam Johnson of Ada, Candy Akehurst and husband Robert of Tecumseh, Charlie Flynn and wife Tonya of Carrolton, GA, Joe Flynn, Jason Tumlinson and wife Erin of Cockeysville, MD, Jeff Tumlinson of Lubbock, TX, Duane Cavett and wife Noami of Arlington, TX, and Amanda White and husband Mathias of Duncanville, TX; numerous great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jack Smith of Happyland and Glen Smith and wife Marie of Ada; numerous nieces and nephews; and her longtime care-giver, Cheryl Merimon.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a granddaughter, Cindy Massey; and three brothers, Bob Smith, Harold Smith and Hershel Smith.
Bearers will be her grandsons.
