Services for Joe William Tatum, 72, of Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Friday at High Hill Baptist Church, Rev. Randy Golden will officiate. Burial will follow at Oakman Cemetery.

Mr. Tatum passed away Monday, June 12, 2017 at a Shawnee hospital. He was born April 25, 1945 at Ada, OK to A. W. and Joann Price Tatum.

Mr. Tatum was a self-employed mechanic and auto trader. He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include four sons, Robert Tatum and wife Stephanie of Ada, Jammey Joe Tatum of Ada, Ronald McCullar of Ada and Eric Atkeson of Ada; a daughter, Angie Tatum Wainscott of Ada; four sisters, Betty Fennell, Judy Tatum and Sheila Odom, all of Ada and Tina Timmons of Sulphur; two brothers, Jerry Tatum and Ricky Tatum, both of Ada; 14 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sons, Joe David Tatum and Bobby Gene Tatum.

Bearers will be Jayson Spencer, Robert Tatum, Frank Chick, Robert Trent, Corey Adams, Jason Odom and Jeremy Odom.
