Services for Joe David Tatum, 48, of Ada are at 10 a.m. Friday at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Randy Golden will officiate. Burial will follow at Oakman Cemetery. Mr. Tatum died Tuesday, May 27, 2014, at his home. He was born Aug. 18, 1965, in Ada to Joe William and Katheryn Jones Tatum. He attended school at Stonewall. He married Andrea Nichols on July 6, 1998. He worked for Hoppe Construction and Jennings Stone as a heavy-machine operator. He was affiliated with High Hill Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Andrea of the home; one son, Marcus Tatum of Ada; two daughters, JoAnna Tatum and her husband, Jackie Lyda, of Ada, and Ashley Tatum and husband, David Jeffers, of Ada; his mother and stepfather, Katheryn and Rocky Anderson; father, Joe Tatum of Ada; his grandmother, Juanita Jones of Ada; three brothers, Robert Tatum, Jammey Joe Tatum and Ronald Lee McCullar; one sister, Angie Wainscott of Stonewall; one stepbrother, Jeffrey Leonard of Ada; two stepsisters, Jackie Adams of Sasakwa and Juanita Kennedy of Sherman, Texas; and eight grandchildren, Marcus Tatum Jr., Bobby Tatum, Matthew Muck, Malakahi Yarbrough, Jaylynn Jeffers, Joe Jeffers, Karson Jeffers and Logan Jeffers. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Doil Jones and A. W. And Joann Tatum; a brother, Bobby Gene Tatum; and a granddaughter, McKayla Tatum. Bearers will be Robert Tatum, Jackie Lyda, David Jeffers, James Nichols, Roy Scott and Roger McClendon.
