Services for Garry Starr, McLoud, were held at 10:00 am Thursday March 8, 2007 at the John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel. Interment followed at 2:00 pm at the Oakman Cemetery in Ada, Oklahoma. Services were under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel.

Garry Dale Starr was born July 26, 1945 to Carl and Nellie Starr and passed away on March 5, 2007. Gary enjoyed carpentry and worked as a salesman at Eldorado Motors for 12 years. He retired from Albertson's as a store director.

Survivors include his wife Linda of the home, 4 children, Alan Talkington and wife Sheri, Tamara E. Starr, Kim Vanatten and husband Darrin, Lori Anne Green and husband Kelly, 9 grandchildren, 4 siblings, James Starr and wife Bertha, Bobbie Webb and husband Robert, Melba Haynes and Danny Starr, mother-in-law Pearl Hopkins and husband Robert, 2 brothers-in-law, Jess Russell and wife Virginia, and Bruce Russell and wife Anna, and numerous other loving family members and friends.

Preceding him in death were his parents Carl and Nellie Starr, son David Scott, brother Donald Ray Starr, sister Wanda Sue Dobrman, sister Shirley Ann Starr, and brother-in-law Robert Haynes.
