Services for John Wesley Shatswell, 74, of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Oakman Cemetery.

Mr. Shatswell passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at his home. He was born January 1, 1944 in Eufaula, OK.

He married Shirley Tomlinson. Mr. Shatswell was a machinist until his retirement. He was strong in his Christian faith and attended Boiling Springs United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley, of the home; two sons, Shawn Shatswell and David Shatswell; two daughters, Joella Bell and Lynnelle Shatswell; his step-children, Carolyn Callies, Christopher Tomlinson and Christina Foster; 19 grandchildren; a sister, Hazel Poppino; and three brothers, Buddy Wayne Shatwell, Troy Shatswell and Ronnie Shatswell; and other relatives and friends.
