Services for Joyce Ann Purcell, 75, of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Dr. Bob Payne will officiate. Burial will follow at Oakman Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Purcell passed away Monday, September 25, 2017 at her home. She was born June 12, 1942 in Ada to Floyd Melvin and Geneva Mae Roundtree Winters. She attended Byng school and then she and her family moved to California where she graduated from Baldwin Park High School.

She married John Benjamin Purcell November 12, 1963. He preceded her in death August 20, 2017. Mrs. Purcell owned and operated several businesses in Ada including Carpet Warehouse with her husband John until her retirement. She was a member of Colbert Baptist Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Sheila Mills and husband Scott of Ada, Debbie Bond of Montgomery, TX and Tami Purcell of Ada; two brothers, Charles Winters of Pensacola, FL and Johnny Winters of Durant; a sister, Sue Hoppe of Mead; seven grandchildren, Tiffany Lockhart, Bree Figgins, Danny Manuel, Lane Mills, Cody Mills, Skye Purcell and Ty Mills; and four great-grandchildren, Madison Neyhard, Cash Lockhart, Erin Lockhart and Hayley Lockhart.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a brother, Bobby Winters.

Bearers will be Jason Masoner, Lane Mills, Cody Mills, Ty Mills, Danny Manuel, Pedro Martinez and Louis Augilar.
