Graveside services for LaQuitta Vae Price, 85, of the Happyland Community are 11:00 a. m. Friday at Oakman Cemetery, Ed Poblete will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Price passed away Monday, September 25, 2017 at an Ada hospital. She was born August 24, 1932 at the Lovelady Community, east of Ada to E. H. and Edna Nickell Brannon. She and her family moved to Friona, TX where she graduated from high school.

She married Doug Price June 3, 1980. He preceded her in death October 23, 1992. Mrs. Price was a bookkeeper and office manager for Griffin and Horne Accounting Firm and later People’s Electric Cooperative.

Survivors include a daughter, Sherri Curry of Ada; a son, Philip Curry and wife Melissa of Ada; three grandchildren, Filicia Richardson and husband Kenneth, Justin Taylor and Steven Curry; a brother, Lloyd Brannon of Richfield, WA; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Doug; a sister, LaWatha Kieth; and brother, Lowell Brannon.
