Services for Troy Glennis Nix, 40, of Non are 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Richmond Avenue Free Will Baptist Church in Allen, Rev. Buddy Drake will officiate. Burial will follow at Oakman Cemetery.

Mr. Nix passed away Saturday, January 13, 2018 at his home. He was born September 7, 1977 at Ada to Toy Lee and Ruth Karlene Midkiff Nix. He graduated from Calvin High School and worked as a pipeline welder for Union #798.

Survivors include two sisters, Tammy Gutierrez and her husband Ambrosio of Ada and LaDonna Nix of Allen; and one brother, Ashley James of Ada; his father, Toy Lee Nix of Non; son, Larry Lee Nix and his mother, Skye Henderson of Allen; son, Brantley Arch Nix and daughter, Timber Elizabeth Ruth Nix, step-son, Jarrett Tyrell and step-daughter, Aubrey Scott and their mother, Cherina Tyrell of Allen.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Karlene; his maternal grandmother, Helen Midkiff; and his paternal grandparents, Chester and Louise “Toot” Nix.

Bearers will be John Cundiff, James Lindsey, Jason Nix, George Cramer, Scotty Morrison and Moe Moore. Honorary bearers will be Sean Taylor, Jarrett Tyrell, Tanner Ashby, Jonathan Ashby, Larry Howard and Gerald Jones.
