Funeral services for Taylen Dewayne Oneal Leonard, 6 months, Stonewall, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Smith-Phillips Funeral Home, Ada. Burial followed at Oakman Cemetery , Ada. Rev. Carl Hayes officiated. Services were under the direction of Smith-Phillips Funeral Home, Ada.
He was born June 9, 2007, in Ada to Jeffery Earl Oneal Leonard and Nicole Kay Cox and died Jan. 1, 2008, at his home in Stonewall.
He is survived by his father, Jeffery Leonard, Stonewall; his mother, Nicole Cox, Stonewall; a sister, Nakaylee Scott, Stonewall; a brother, Nathaniel Leonard, Ardmore; maternal grandmother, Tammy Cox, Stonewall; maternal grandfather, Grant Cox, Byng; paternal grandparents, Donna and Joe Tatum, Byng; paternal grandfather, Clifford Leonard, Ada; maternal great-grandmother, Shirley Cox, Byng; four aunts, Brandy Cox, Stonewall, Fran Lamb and Jay Branham, both of Edmond, and Judy Scott, Ada; one cousin, Joseph Scott, Stonewall; and many second cousins, aunts, uncles and other family members.
Preceding him in death was his maternal great-grandparents, Alfred and Linda Scott, maternal great-grandfather, Albert Cox; maternal great-great-grandparents, Son and Edna Scott; and maternal great-great-grandparents, Joe and Helen Wilson.
