Services for Rovella Laverne Hardcastle, 88, of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Dr. Bob Payne will officiate. Burial will follow at Oakman Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Criswell Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hardcastle passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at Kingston. She was born October 30, 1930 at Marlow, OK to Sidney C. and Lillian E. Shaver Manuel. She lived in this area all her life, attended Stonewall and Irving grade schools and Ada High School.
She married Richard F. Hardcastle April 6, 1946 in Konawa. He preceded her in death August 22, 2012. Mrs. Hardcastle was a homemaker and she was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include two sons, Richard Ray Hardcastle of Eufaula and Robert E. “Bobby” Hardcastle of Umatilla, FL; a brother, Sidney S. Manuel, Jr. of Ada; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Ronnie C. Hardcastle and four sisters, Donna Allen, Margaret Sellers, Kay Webb, and Syble Davis; and a brother, Elmer Manuel.
Bearers will be Jaren Standridge, Brenton Uptergrove, Sean Hardcastle, Kody Guinn, Kris Guinn and Shawn Davis.
