Services for Dwight Lee Grove, 70, Ada are at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Abbas House Worship Center. Pastor Ken Angel will officiate. Burial will follow at Oakman Cemetery. The Chickasaw Honor Guard will conduct military honors at the cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. To 8 p.m. Thursday at Criswell Funeral Home.
Mr. Grove died Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at Oklahoma Heart Hospital South in Oklahoma City. He was born August 5, 1945 in Ada, Oklahoma. He attended Homer Elementary and Byng High School. He was a diesel mechanic in the United States Navy for 4 years. He was a carpenter from 1975 1986. He owned and operated Ernies Automotive from 1986 - 2004. He was a member of Abbas House Worship Center.
He is survived by his wife, Rozanna Grove of the home; 2 sisters, Barbara Breedlove of Nicoma Park, Linda Harjo and husband Jacob of Ada; 3 daughters, Melinda Booth of Ada, Michelle Booth and husband John of Stratford, Rebecca Lamb and husband Shaun of Ada; 7 Grand-children, James Howard II of Ada, Christopher Booth and wife Kayla of Stratford, Maegan Cowans and husband David of Ada, Briana Scribner and husband Andrew of Ada, Makenzi Lamb of Ada, Ethan Lamb of Ada, Brandon Lamb of Ada. 5 Great-grandchildren, Roger Matthews of Ada, Abby Davis of Stratford, Kayla Davis of Stratford, Addison Cowans of Ada, Mason Cowans of Ada.
He was preceded in death by his parents Lindell and Imogene Grove, his brother Truman Grove, his great-granddaughter Kylee Cowans, his nephew Chris Breedlove.
Bearers will be Darrell Stallings, Donnie Breedlove, Darrell Breedlove, Christopher Booth, David Cowans, Andrew Scribner, Ethan Lamb, Brandon Lamb. Honorary Bearers will be James Howard II, Larry Sloan, Jim Patton, Don Davis, Reece Aldridge and Charlie Pogue.
