Services for Gene Anthony Clark Jr. 44, Ada, are 10 a.m. Monday at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Dewayne Ott and Harold Holt will officiate. Burial will follow at Oakman Cemetery .

Mr. Clark died Saturday, March 22, 2008, at a local hospital. He was born Feb. 7, 1964, at Ada, to Gene A. Clark Sr. and Joy Greenwood Clark.

He attended school in Fort Worth, Texas. He also attended a school for medical training in Des Moines, Iowa. He moved to this area in 1984 from Fort Worth, Texas.

Mr. Clark was a caregiver for disabled children and attended the Ada Baptist Temple.

He married Cyndi Basham March 15, 1988, at Ada.

Survivors include his children, Suzyrae Marie Clark, Monroe, Iowa, and Thurlow Wisdom Clark, Monroe, Iowa; his father, Gene A. Clark Sr. and wife Nikki, Konawa; his mother, Joy Bohanon and husband Jan, Byng; a sister, Jacqueline Clark, Ada; nephews, Aaron and Michael Cooper, Ada; and many uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Thurlow and Eva Clark, Homer; and Francis Ott, Ada.

Bearers will be Aaron Cooper, Michael Cooper, Shawn Lyda, Shannon Ireland, Michael Inglehop, Tim Underwood, Joey Cooper, and Kenny Lyda. Honorary bearers will be Christopher Ott, Christian Ott, Gerald Scott, Kevin Greenwood, Marion Johnson, Paul Campbell and Thurlow Wisdom Clark.
