Services for Gene A. Clark, 73, of Konawa, are 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Kellos Walker will officiate. Burial will follow at Oakman Cemetery.

Mr. Clark died Sunday, November 2, 2014 at a local hospital. He was born May 7, 1941 in the Oakman Community to Thurlow and Eva Perry Clark. He attended Byng schools.

He married Nicki Killian Brown on July 3, 1994. Mr. Clark was a machinist for General Aviation and Bell Helicopter in Ft. Worth, Texas until his retirement. He was a member of the Allen Lodge #81 A.F. & A.M. and 32nd degree Mason.

Survivors include his wife, Nicki Clark, of the home; a daughter, Sally Clark of Ada; two sisters, Sue Clark of Ada and Ardell Brown of Bedford, TX; his grandchildren, Suzyrae Clark and Thurlow Clark, both of Leon, IA, and Aaron and Michael Cooper of Ada; a great granddaughter, Landriee Joy Clark of Leon, IA; a step-son, Rowdy Brown and wife Kendra of Eastland, TX; two step-grandchildren, Lindsey and Kalen Brown; one step-great granddaughter, Ella Brown; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a son, Gene Anthony Clark.

Bearers will be Aaron Cooper, Michael Cooper, Thurlow Clark, Sheldon Brown, Buck Brown and Gary Thurston.
