Graveside services for David Ray Alexander are 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at Highland Cemetery in Stonewall,OK. Rev. J.P. Williams will officiate.

David Ray Alexander of Ft. Smith, Arkansas passed away on March 24, 2023 at the age of 88 years.

David died peacefully with his beloved wife, Donna, and his children by his side.

David was born in the Village of Frisco, Oklahoma on November 22, 1934 to William Clayton Alexander and Ethel Elenora Alexander. He grew up in rural Oklahoma eventually moving to California after high school. He met his wife, Donna, at a barn dance in El Monte, California. They were married in 1956.

David enjoyed a long career as a machinist and statistician for Northrop Grumman for 30 years. He, also, co-owned Ejay's Machine Shop with his brother-in-law, Ejay Eastin, for several years.

David was very active in the Masonic Fraternity serving as the Worshipful Master of his lodge twice, and as Inspector of the 628 Masonic District. He received the Hiram Award for his service to the organization. David belonged to the Al Malaiki Shrine and was a member of their Psychos Mini-Bike team riding in parades all over California.

He supported all of the Masonic Youth Groups. He served as Associate Bethel Guardian of Fullerton Job's Daughters Bethel 13 and as the Grand Associate Guardian for the State of California. He was a Chapter Dad for the Fullerton Demolay.

In his spare time, David enjoyed camping and fishing. He liked to make things out of wood - he made a ski boat, water skis, bird houses, and snowmen.

David was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers; Richard, William, Kenneth, and Lonnie as well as his sister, Rhea Jean.

He is survived by his wife, Donna; daughter, Pam Brennan (Don) and his son, David J. Alexander (Laura)
