Graveside services for Carl Henry West, 83, Ada are 11:00 a.m. Monday at the New Bethel Cemetery in Byng, Rev. Earl Hood will officiate.

Mr. West died Thursday, April 7, 2011 at a local nursing home. He was born January 28, 1928 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to Charles and Elta Watson West.

He married Lela Pearl Beach. She preceded him in death. Mr. West was employed with the City of Ada Street Department until his retirement. He was of the Baptist faith and has served in the U. S. Army and the National Guard.

Survivors include a daughter, Vicky Tatum and her husband Jerry, Ada; a son, Henry West and his wife Monzeta, Ada; two brothers, Coy West, Allen, and Harold M. West, Ada; four grandchildren, Tresa Anderson and husband Roy, Ada, and Gary Tatum and wife Lee, Ada, Michael West, Ada and Adam West, Ada; twelve great grandchildren including, Charles Beets, Jessica Beets, Christopher Beets, Samantha Tatum, Robin Tatum, Sabrina Tatum, Candice Tatum, Courtney Tatum and Taylor Tatum; and three great great grandchildren.
