Services for LaVera Lee Walton, 73, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 21, 2023 at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at New Bethel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Mrs. Walton passed away Sunday, July 16, 2023 at Mercy Hospital in Ada. She was born December 10, 1949 in Ada, OK to Boyd and Bessie Jewel Johnson Hanks.

Mrs. Walton is survived by her four sons, Chris Borges and wife Kyla of Ada, Shannon Hanks and wife Kimberly of Walters, OK, Kenneth Hanks of Ada and Billy Jenkins of Ada; one daughter, Adrian Jenkins of Colorado; two brothers, Billy Hanks and wife Nancy of Springfield, III and Bob Hanks and wife Lisa of Holly Springs, Mississippi; one sister, Carol Yeager and husband Billy of Holly Springs, Mississippi; 17 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Jay D. Walton, Jr.

Bearers are Bobby Ginnis, Dakota Hanks, Jason Bo Burk, Brandon Prince and Randy Dearman.
