Services for Jerry Lee Wayne Knight, 72, Byng, are 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at New Bethel Cemetery at Byng.

Mr. Knight died Saturday, June 26, 2010 at a local hospital. He was born August 18, 1937 at Tyrola, Oklahoma to Troy and Martha Mae Abbott Knight. He attended Byng schools.

Mr. Knight married Patricia Bidabe on August 27, 1987 in Ada. Mr. Knight was a heavy equipment operator in Texas, Oklahoma and California. He was of the Assembly of God faith and a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Knight, of the home; a daughter, Pattie Mitchell and husband Eddie, Ada; a son, Martin Bidabe, Concord, California; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; a brother, Paskell Knight, Park Hill, Oklahoma; a sister, Donnie Skaggs, Seminole; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jan Doreen Cummins, a brother, Kenneth Knight, and his parents.

Bearers will be Gene Knight, Randy Knight, Don Sharber, Martin Bidabe, Gerald Bidabe, Jeremy Smith, and Tyler Knight. Honorary bearers will be Tom Wilson, Tim Wilson, Monty Knight and Eddie Mitchell.
