Services for Nyree Dawn Burris, 41, of Ada are 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the New Hope Pentecostal Holiness church, Rev. Toby Willoughby and Mike Deviney will officiate. Burial will follow at New Bethel Cemetery at Byng. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Criswell Funeral Home.
Mrs. Burris passed away Monday, March 11, 2019 at an Ada hospital. She was born December 23, 1977 at Lindsay to Roy Allen and Cindy Kay Turner Spears. She attended Hennessey Grade School and graduated from Healdton High School.
She married Stoney Burris September 15, 2003. Mrs. Burris was a homemaker and a member of New Hope Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Survivors include her husband Stoney Burris, of the home; a daughter, Stormy Burris of Ada; her mother, Cindy Spears of Oklahoma City; and a sister, Rhonda Graham and her husband Ian of Oklahoma City.
She was preceded in death by her father, Roy Spears.
Bearers will be Don Turner, Kent Turner, Ricky Griffin, Nick Miller, Steve Hatcher, Levi Hatcher, Melvin Powell and Wendall Baker. Honorary bearers will be Anthony Zukosky, Eric Ulrich, Bryan Ulrich and Jimmy Hammond.
