Graveside services for Melissa Paulette (Tippin) Beach, 63, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 28, 2020 at New Bethel Cemetery in Byng, Sarah Beach will officiate.

Mrs. Beach passed away Monday, August 24, 2020 at her home. She was born July 18,1957 at McAlester, OK to Vernon and Mae Wilson Tippin. She attended Wetumka schools and graduated from Wetumka High School in 1975. She received her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Special Education and Early Childhood Education from East Central University. Mrs. Beach lived in Latta for many years.

She married Clifford Beach June 4, 1977. He preceded her in death in 2014. Mrs. Beach was a Middle School Teacher at Sasakwa. Melissa enjoyed crocheting and sewing. She loved her OU Sooners, OKC Thunder, Coca-Cola and weiner dogs. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include a son, Scott Beach and wife Sarah, Cincinnati, OH; a daughter, Kristin Reeves and husband Shawn, Latta; her grandchildren, Clifford Beach and Lucy Beach, both of Cincinnati, Riley Johnson and Ryker Reeves, both of Latta; a brother, Bill Tippin, Wetumka; aunt, Billie Hair, Muskogee; and cousins, Ronna Johnston and husband, Darrell, Porter, OK., Elaine Harris and Suzanne Pacheco.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a sister, Gina Tippin; and a grandson, Kasin Beach-Reeves.

Bearers will be Shawn Reeves, Kevin Johnston, Billy Tippin and Bryan Reed. Honorary bearer will be Riley Johnson.
