Services for Andrew Edward “Andy” Anderson, 55, of Byng are 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Chaplain Rich Putnam will officiate. Burial will follow at New Bethel Cemetery at Byng.
Mr. Anderson passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at his home. He was born March 17, 1961 at Altadena, CA to Franklin Jay and Alma Ruth Nipps Anderson. He attended grade school at Altadena and attended Byng High School.
He married Sharon Summers and later he married Linda Oliver. They both preceded him in death. Mr. Anderson was a roughneck in the oilfield.
Survivors include his mother, Alma Nipps Sjurset of Byng; two sons, Frankie Anderson and wife Kasey of Eufaula and Christopher Anderson and wife Kendra of Canadian; a grandson, Andrew Bryce Anderson of Eufaula; a brother, Jon Parks and partner, Terri Fowler of Ada; his sisters, Alma Jean Hankins of San Jose, CA, Lorraine Parks and husband Tom of Gold Hill, OR, Susie Tingle and husband Joe of Byng; a sister-in-law, Vikki Nola and husband Joe of Byng; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father; his wife, Sharon Anderson; wife, Linda Anderson; and two brothers, Franklin Anderson, Jr. and Ronnie Jack Parks.
Bearers will be Chase Bryant, David Winters, Michael Winters, Allen Mast, Benny Nipps and Mike Nipps. Honorary bearers will be Don Armstrong, Michael Quinton, Tom Brewer, Wesley Jones, Brad Lillard, Greg Harbin, James Harbin and Bernard Parish.
