Services for Kathryn June Worthy, 87, of Ada, OK are 10:00 a.m. Friday at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Reverends Rusty Fuller and David Gray will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Criswell Funeral Home.
Kathryn passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2018 in Keller, TX. She was born July 20, 1931 at Wetumka to Lloyd Samuel and Dollie Naomi Haught Stettler. She graduated from McLish High School in 1949.
She returned to Ada in March 1975. Kathryn worked at Valley View Regional Hospital in Ada retiring in October 2008. She was a faithful member of Trinity Baptist Church. Kathryn was renowned among family, friends, and colleagues for her excellent baking skills, most notably her cookies and brownies.
She is survived by her son, Larry Worthy of Fort Worth, TX; her grandchildren, Matthew Worthy and wife Kristin of Garland TX, Lauren Wick and husband Jonathon of Magnolia, TX; and her great-grandson Kayden Wick and a great-granddaughter due in January.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings: Jimmy Stettler, Gilbert Stettler, Wanda Grace Harris, and Mary Ross.
Bearers will be Matt Worthy, Jonathon Wick, Rick Stettler, Daniel Stettler, Don Fentem and Rory Ward. Honorary bearer will be David Stettler.
