Services for Helen Lily Reed Wells, 86, of Davis, formerly of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Revs. Darrell Phillips and Alan McCoy will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Sunday at Criswell Funeral Home.
Mrs. Wells passed away Thursday, September 21, 2017 at Burford Manor Nursing Home in Davis. She was born August 12, 1931 in Ada to Willie R. and Nova Grove Reed. She attended grade school at Center and also attended Vanoss Schools.
She married Cecil Morris in 1949 at Texas. He preceded her in death in 1980. She later married Alvin Wells in 1985. He preceded her in death in 2003. Mrs. Wells was a beautician and was also a Unit Secretary at Valley View Regional Hospital for several years. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include a son, Danny Morris and his wife Karynn of Davis; a brother, Van Reed and wife Doris of Ada; her grandchildren, Danny and Margie Morris, Jami and Stacy Jackson, David Morris, Shannon and James Taliaferro and Lee Bahner; great-grandchildren, Presley Morris, Tyler Morris, Nikki and B. J. Jackson, Chase and Logan Taliaferro and Brooklyn Bahner.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands; two sons, Billy and Benny Morris; and a sister, Betty Magar.
Bearers will be Tom Blackwell, Roy Rogers, Carl Allen, Joe Allen, Tyler Reed and Mark Lewin.
