Mary Ellen (Jumper) Taylor

Graveside services for Mary Ellen Taylor, 80, of Konawa are 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Memorial Park Cemetery in Ada, Rev. Tony Folger will officiate.

Mrs. Taylor passed away Thursday, January 3, 2019 at a local nursing home. She was born July 26, 1938 at Fittstown to Homer and Dora Ellen Cradduck Jumper.

She married Charles Love Taylor November 8, 1956. He preceded her in death December 4, 2018. Mrs. Taylor was a secretary at numerous jobs in numerous states. Previously, she was a nurse’s aide at Valley View Regional Hospital in Ada.

Survivors include a son, Jimmy Taylor and wife Lynn of Konawa; daughter-in-law, Sharilyn Taylor of Konawa; four grandchildren, Elizabeth Stemple, Meridian, ID, Christopher Taylor, Oklahoma City, Samuel Taylor and Jacob Taylor, both of Konawa.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Stephen Douglas Taylor, September 1, 2013; and two brothers, Leonard Jumper and Harland Jumper.
