Services for Bob Frank Steele, 79, of Ada are 1:00 p.m. Monday at Trinity Baptist Church, Dr. Rusty Fuller and Revs. David Gray and Don Sayre will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Steele died Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at an Oklahoma City hospital. He was born June 29, 1935 in Beggs, Oklahoma to Harvey and Gladys Keith Steele. He attended Beggs High School.
Mr. Steele married Beverly Ann Carpenter on June 24, 1988 in Ada. He was employed with the Burlington Northern Railroad for 45 years until his retirement. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Beverly, of the home; his daughters, Bobbie Phillips and husband Alan of Broken Arrow, Brenda Roberts and husband Donald of Sherman, TX, Cindy Brown and husband Robert of Moore, Linda Kelly of Ada, Patricia Morris and husband David of Enterprise, AL and Brenda Williams and husband Ron of Moore; a daughter-in-law, Karen Carpenter of Lake Texhoma; 14 grandchildren; and 30 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Kenneth Carpenter, Jr.; a daughter, Sherry Dawn Steele; one sister, Helen and two brothers, Bill and Jim.
Bearers will be Jordan Williams, Brian Canada, Preston Brown, Deven Leno, Josh Brigman and John D’Aguano.
