Services for Wanda Faye Smith, 87, of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Frank Trent will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Smith passed away Sunday, December 6, 2015 at her daughter’s home. She was born May 15, 1928 in the Worstell Community northwest of Ada to Arch Martin and Viola Frances Hurley Collins. She lived most of her life in this area. She attended Bebee schools and Ada schools.
She married James R. Smith November 5, 1958. He preceded her in death July 4, 1983. Mrs. Smith was a devoted wife and mother and also worked as a cook and sales clerk. She was a longtime member of the Calvary Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Survivors include her son, Jackie Keeling of Ada; two daughters, Saretta Phillips of Ada and Teresa Schrag of Guthrie; three step-daughters, Patricia Jones of Ada, Susan Kelly of Sulphur and Pam Kirk of Konawa; eight grandchildren; several step-grandchildren; and numerous great and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sons, Kenneth Keeling and Paul Edward Keeling; three sisters, Viola Bolin, Lillian Rigel and Ethel Leona Collins; and two brothers, Chester Collins and Lester Collins.
Bearers will be her grandsons and great-grandsons.
