Services for Helen Juanita Sherrell, 94, of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Southwest Church of Christ, Danny Stewart and Floyd Kaiser will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Sherrell died Monday, August 15, 2016 at an Oklahoma City hospital. She was born May 18, 1922 in Ada to Elmer Dee and Margaret Arizona Smith Wyche.

She married Denzel Wayne “Pete” Sherrell on December 23, 1939 in Stuart, OK. He preceded her in death on January 2, 1999. Juanita was a sales clerk at Katz Department Store for over twenty years. She was a member of the Southwest Church of Christ.

Survivors include two daughters, Pat Allison and husband Ira of Jesse and Sandy Hooper and husband Dan of Burleson, TX; one son, Wendell Sherrell and wife Sharon of Ada; two sisters, Lou McElroy of Ada and Sue Jordan of Fittstown; two brothers, Dale Wyche of Arkansas and Larry Wyche of Stilwell, OK; five grandchildren, Wayne Allison of Edmond, D.E. Sherrell of Ada, Kyle Hooper of Mansfield, TX, Kristy Walker of Burleson, TX and Bodie Marion of Ada and ten great-grandchildren, T.W. Estes, Jake Allison, Dylan Hooper, Nathan Walker, Owen Walker, Taw Sherrell, Mason Hooper, Nolan Walker, Grace Walker and Evi Walker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a granddaughter, Cindy Estes; two sisters, Ruth and Arlene and one brother, Gerald.

Bearers will be D.E. Sherrell, Taw Sherrell, T.W. Estes, Wayne Allison, Billy Walker, Bodie Marion and Kyle Hooper.
