Services for Lowell Paul Penrod, 61, of Lewisville, formerly of Ada are at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 13 at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel in Ada; Hillel (Adam), Paul's son will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Ada.
Mr. Penrod died Monday, May 11, 2015 at 6:17 p.m. at Heart Hospital Baylor in Plano, Texas. He was born Sept. 25, 1953, in Houston, Texas, to Lowell Calvin Penrod and Lillian Elizabeth Brown Penrod. He attended grade school at Cleveland Grover Elementary in Lakewood, California. He and his family moved to the Ada area, and he attended Pickett-Center grade school and graduated from Ada High School. He attended East Central University and graduated from the Parker College of Chiropractic in Irving, Texas.
He married Mollie Louise Kehl on July 11, 1975, at the Trinity Baptist Church in Pauls Valley. They were married for over 39 years. Mr. Penrod was a chiropractor, committed to being a Noahide, he was a Mason in the Lewisville Masonic Lodge and a member of the Dallas Songwriters Association. He served in the U. S. Air Force during the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife, Mollie Louise Penrod; his children, Hillel (Adam) Lowell Penrod, his wife Melinda (Ayelet) and their children, Eliana and Hoshea; Jaime Elizabeth Louise Janiszewski, her husband Edward and their children, Mollie and Maxon; Aaron Lewis Paul Penrod, his wife Jennifer and their children, Olivia, Lilian and Henry; and Abraham Joseph Lockhart Penrod, his wife Valerie and their son Jimmy; two brothers, Samuel L. Penrod and partner Sergio, and Luke J. Penrod and wife Kristy, a sister, Mary Lizabeth Adams; and numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Pall "Paul" bearers will be his three sons, Hillel Penrod, Aaron Penrod and Abraham Penrod; his son-in-law, Edward Janiszewski; his two brothers, Luke Penrod and Sam Penrod; and two nephews, Chris Penrod and Spencer Penrod.
