Graveside services for Alfred “Doc” Porter Nickerson, 94, of Ada are 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 27, 2023 at Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Brock Barrett will officiate.

Mr. Nickerson passed away Saturday, January 21, 2023 at his daughter’s house in Porum, OK. He was born November 23, 1928 in Francis, OK to Oscar James and Tommie Porter Nickerson.

Mr. Nickerson served in the United States Army.

He is survived by his wife, Glenda, of the home; two daughters, Darla Pearce, Stonewall and Peggy Corvin, Porum; 10 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; 25 great great grandchildren; and two great great great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sons, Larry James and Edward Lee Nickerson.
