Lenna Gerlene “Jean” Milner, age 93, of Ada, OK. Passed from this earthly home to her heavenly home on April 11th, 2024. She was born to Robert Marvin “Bob” Estes and Minnie Ardell Wood Estes on December 29th, 1930 in Allen, Oklahoma.
Funeral Service will be held on Monday, April 15th, at 2:00 PM at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel – Ada, OK. Burial services will follow at Memorial Park in Ada, OK. The family will receive friends Sunday, April 14th, from 5-7 PM.
Jean was preceded in death by her Parents Robert Marvin Estes and Minnie Pearl Estes, her sisters Lorene and husband Jess Moore, Mildred and husband Merle Stephenson.
She attended McCall’s Chapel “Normal” school, then Allen Schools, graduating in 1948.
She married the love of her life, Billy J. Milner on December 6th, 1949, recently celebrating 74 years! Together they had two children Bruce and Pam. She worked for Dr. T.L. Lester OD for 19 years, but her favorite job was “MiMi” for the entire family and especially the Grandkids. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Ada since 1964.
Jean is survived by her husband, Bill, her son Larry Bruce Milner and wife Dianne, Collierville, TN. Her daughter, Pamela Renee McKinzie and husband Dwayne, Ada, OK.
Grandchildren – Amy James and husband Michael, Choctaw, OK. Megan Keating and husband Drew, Tangiers, Morocco. Jaime Merriman and husband Clint, Cleveland, OK, AJ Lancaster, Tulsa, OK, Daniel Hobbs and wife Cara of Broken Arrow, OK, Nathan Hobbs and wife Kelly, Ada, OK, Shelby Bigelow, and husband Brian, Ada, OK, and Kasey Collins and husband Caleb, Nobel, OK, Katy Shepard and husband James, Stratford, OK.
Great Grandchildren – Eva Joy and Tobias Keating, Noah and Maggie Hobbs, Riley and Callum Bigelow, Grayson, Elam and Noralee Hobbs, Raylin, Jack and Jarod Merriman, Chasen and Tatum Shepard, Payson and Shay Collins. Arden Yates.
Pallbearers: Daniel Hobbs, Nathan Hobbs, Brian Bigelow, Michael Mudd, Steven Mudd, Michael James.
