Mrs. Sylvia Lois Lynn, 823 St. Joseph Drive, died at 2:15 a.m. Thursday in a local hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the First Christian Church, the Rev. J. E. Dorman, minister, conducting the rites. Oscar Parker, Jess Handley, M. E. Tennis, Lewis Colbert, Jack Ryan and L. C. Longpine will be casketbearers. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
The family says those desiring may contribute to the American Cancer Society or Oklahoma Medical Research foundation.
Mrs. Lynn was active in the work of her church was a member of the Witmodausis Guild. She recently obtained her bachelor of arts degree from East Central State College and was working toward a master's degree.
She was born in Comanche, Tex., July 1, 1914 to J. F. Hord and Dollie Stewart Hord, and came to Ada in 1934.
Surviving are her husband, J. B. Lynn; one son, Ronald B. of the home; a step-son, Donald B., Atwater, Calif., U.S. Air force; four grandchildren; two sisters, Miss Edith Hord, Ada, and Mrs. Elmer Pickett, Tyler, Tex; two brothers, Sherman Hord, Placerville, Calif., and Chesterfield Hord, Huntington Park, Calif.
