Graveside services for Mintha Jones, 84, of Ada are 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Richard Bailey officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Jones died Saturday, September 19, 2015 at home. She was born April 12, 1931 to Edgar J. and Julia Tatum Fullingim at Ada. She lived in the Ada area all her life. She graduated from Ada High School in 1949 and attended East Central University.

She was a retired bookkeeper from Culligan Water Conditioning in Ada. She and Buell Jones were married on April 2, 1951 at Ada. He preceded her in death August 5, 1982. She was also preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, Joffery, Floyd, Lloyd, J. B., and Eugene Fullingim and a grandson, SSGT, Eric Petty.

Survivors include two daughters, Janet Petty and husband Ron of Harrah, OK and Nancy Parker of Ada, OK; grandchildren, Amy Battenfield and husband, Brian of Muskogee, OK, Kyle Petty and wife Christa of Louisville, KY, Jon Parker and wife Ashlee of McAlester, OK and Kimberly Petty-Sullivan of Ft. Gibson, OK; nine great-grandchildren, Colton Petty, Kale, Trey and Aiden Parker; Kaden, Klayton and Kaylee Battenfield, Emma and Hunter Petty and numerous nieces and nephews.

Bearers are Colton Petty, Kyle Petty, Jon Parker, Kale Parker, Brian Battenfield and Kaden Battenfield.
