Services for Clifford Eugene Jackson, 74, of Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Steve Wilburn will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mr. Jackson died Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at a local nursing home. He was born March 31, 1941 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Godfrey Dewitt Jackson and Mable Grace McDaniel Jackson. He graduated from Seminole High School and received a Master’s Degree from East Central University.

He married Evonda Joyce Scott on December 5, 1986 in Las Vegas, NV. Mr. Jackson was a State Trooper with Troop F with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol for 23 years. He later was a Jail Administrator for the City of Ada for 19 years. Mr. Jackson was a member of Fitzhugh Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Evonda, of the home; his children, Julie Wilcox and husband Bill of Plano, TX, Brian Jackson and wife Kim of Oklahoma City, Jill Darnell and husband Bill of Houston, TX, Justin Priest and wife Tana of Roff and Kandyce Davis of Ada; two brothers, Charles Jackson and wife Willie of Alex and Kenneth Jackson and wife Carol of Las Cruces, NM; his grandchildren, Conner Priest, Zac Byrd, Kaitlyn Davis, Kymber Davis, Jennifer Darnell, Lindsey Boudreau, Shawna Martell and Kris Carter; five great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant brother; and a sister, Helen Barlow.

Bearers will be the OHP Honor Guard. Honorary bearers will be Tim Stone, Jack McNutt, Steve West, Carl Allen, John Wayne Smith, Paul Roan, Pete Peterson, Harvey Phillips, Mike Wegrzyn, and Ed Coffey.
