Services for Faye Holland, 87, of Stonewall are 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, her son-in-law, Rev. Kendell Martin will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Criswell Funeral Home.
Mrs. Holland passed away Monday, November 11, 2019 at an Ada hospital. She was born May 27, 1932 in Ada to George and Cleo Roach McKinney. She attended McLish schools and graduated from McLish High School. She also attended East Central University.
She married Ralph Holland June 2, 1978. He preceded her in death July 22, 2011. Mrs. Holland was a switchboard operator for Southwestern Bell Telephone, retiring in 1977 after 25 years of service. She was an active member of the Stonewall Free Will Baptist Church and had also served on the Jesse Cemetery Board.
Survivors include her daughter, Cindy Martin and her husband Kendell of Wynnewood; a son, Craig Sweat and wife Katherine, Lindale, TX; three grandchildren, Wesley Sweat, Oklahoma City, Dustin Sweat, Tyler, TX and Micah Martin and wife Michelle, Wynnewood; a great-grandchild, Blaine Martin, Wynnewood; cousins, Onus Jordan, Cotton Jordan, Vestal Cole and James Harden; and a very special nephew, Verl Holland, Stonewall.
Bearers will be Josh Moore, Wesley Sweat, Micah Martin, Rusty Hudson, Bob Blackwell, and Kenny Moore. Honorary bearers will be Verl Holland, Jimmy Barrett, Onus Jordan, Cotton Jordan, Vestal Cole, Dustin Sweat, Blaine Martin, Parker Collins and Peyton Moore, and the members of the Stonewall Free Will Baptist Church.
