Services for Patricia Ann Herrin, 80, of Ada will held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, November 9th at Union Valley Baptist Church in Stonewall, OK. Randall Christy will officiate. Burial services will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Herrin passed from this life to her eternal reward on November 3, 2021. She was born on February 17, 1941 to Fred and Dorothy Wallen in Corcoran, Arizona. She was raised in Tulare, California and attended Tulare Union High School.
She married her lifelong sweetheart, Glen Marshall Herrin, Sr. on February 26, 1958. They were married for 60 years. Pat and Glen originally met in Tulare, CA. and made the decision to move to Oklahoma in 1977 to make their home in Ada. After 20 years of service, she retired from Kmart in Ada and then worked in the banking industry at First United Bank.
Pat was a member of the Union Valley Baptist Church. She was very involved with church activities and loved serving the Lord. She and Glen started and lead Heartfelt Ministries for senior citizens at Union Valley Baptist Church. She also played an integral role in Sisters Hand and Hand. She had a passion for golf and enjoyed dancing with the Healthy Hearts Club. However, she received her greatest joy when she was surrounded by her family.
Survivors include her children, Tina Cope and husband Tony of Cumming, GA; Glen Herrin, Jr. and wife Donna of Stonewall, OK; and Fred Herrin and wife Karen of Byng, OK; her grandchildren, Ryan McKinzie of Cumming, GA; Brandon McKinzie of Fort Lauderdale, FL; Ashleigh Ardrey of Konawa, OK; Trisha Bundy of Sasakwa, OK; Clay Herrin of Stonewall, OK; Tyler Herrin of Ada, OK; Cassie Cope of Atlanta, GA; and Talyn Herrin of Sasakwa, OK; as well as 14 great-grandchildren, and a brother/nephew Darrell Crosswy and wife Pat of Tipton, CA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Dorothy Wallen and brother, Bill Wallen and sister, Randolene Greenwell.
Bearers will be Ryan McKinzie, Brandon McKinzie, Clay Herrin, Tyler Herrin, Cody Ardrey, and Jordan Bundy.
