Services for Paula Joe Hatton, 78, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at Southwest Church of Christ; Floyd Kaiser and Danny Stewart will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Monday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hatton passed away Saturday, October 5, 2024 at her home. She was born December 18, 1945 in Ada to Elwood and Alta Pauline Welch Myers.

On August 8, 1964, she married Glendel Hatton. She was the church Secretary at Southwest Church of Christ for 28 years. Mrs. Hatton taught babies bible class for 34 years. She enjoyed arts and crafts, cooking, sewing, embroidering, and picking pecans. Mrs. Hatton loved her grandchildren, church family and helping others.

Survivors include her husband, Glendel of the home; son, Greg Hatton and wife, Diana of Ada; two daughters, Kelli Simpson and husband, Don of Ada, and Kerri Tindle of Woodstock, GA; brother, Tommy Myers and wife, Becky of Ada; eight grandchildren, Garett Hatton, Lindsay Jones, Ashley Pierce, Valarie Alexander, Melissa Costner, Devin Simpson, Quin Tindle, and Tait Tindle; and 14 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and grandchild, Cru Riley and Dustin Riley; and great granddaughter, Kaylee Cruz.

Bearers are Tyler Jones, Devin Simpson, Hunter Alexander, Garett Hatton, Kervon James, and Steven Riley.
