Services for Douglas Lynn Hatton, 72, of Seminole, are 10:00 a.m. Monday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Pastor Bill Burns will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The Chickasaw Nation Honor Guard will conduct military honors at the cemetery. Mr. Hatton passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at an Oklahoma City hospital. He was born February 27, 1947 at Yakima, WA to Roy Karl and Evelyn Lena Leslie Hatton. He graduated from Stonewall High School and received a Master’s Degree from East Central University. He married Wilma Jean Ballard March 10, 1989 at Ada. She preceded him in death May 22, 2017. Mr. Hatton was a Counselor for IHS Management. He was a member of Seminole Holiness Church and had served in the Oklahoma National Guard. Survivors include three daughters, Robbie Shumard, Ada, Robin Horton, Seminole and Jamie McNutt, Ada; a daughter-in-law, Hailey Hatton, Holdenville; three sisters, Oletha Covington, Marlow, Darlene Chambers, Owl Creek and Freeda Hatton, Ada; three brothers, Pat Hatton, Seminole, Billy Hatton, Ada and Ray Hatton, Byng; his grandchildren, Rickey Horton, Joshua Stewart, Derek Stewart, Brandon Horton, Candi McNutt, Clay McNutt, Krista McNutt, Shana McNutt, Olisha Horton, Nickey Horton, Brantley Hatton and Hailey Hatton; his great-grandchildren, Taylan Horton, Isac Horton, Jesse McNutt, Journey McNutt, Olympia Stewart and Carly McNutt; a great-great-grandson, Daxton (Horton) Hester; and a close friend, Cindy Reeves. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; a son, Matthew Paul Hatton; five brothers, Gerald Hatton, Leon Hatton, Richard Hatton, J.D. Hatton and LeRoy Hatton; and a sister, Juanita Capps. Bearers will be Paul Norman, Rickey Horton, Clay McNutt, Kyle Corona, Tyler Corona and Bruce Hatton.
