Dorothy Golden Turner was born on November 2, 1928 in Drumright, OK to Paul and Bertha Turner. She lived in Oklahoma and moved to California as a child. She met and married Harold Ford and had two children, Patti and Paul.

Dorothy worked for the Canteen Corporation in California as a food service provider. The family moved back to Oklahoma in 1976. She enjoyed fishing and playing music with her brothers and sisters. Dorothy had a sense of humor that she shared with everyone. She was always making people laugh and you never knew what would come out of her mouth. She was a member of College Heights Baptist Church in Ada, Ok.

She passed away at the age of 94 and a half. She lived a long life in Oklahoma, Texas and finally Florida. She is survived by her daughter Patti and favorite son-in-law Jack Gwyn, grandchildren Christina Gwyn, Alex Gwyn, Amber Ford, great grand-daughter Morgan Williamson and brother Russell Turner.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband Harold, son Paul and wife Donna, brothers Lee, Alfred, Jimmy, Carl and sisters Rosella, Louise and Edna.

Graveside services are 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Ada.
