Services for Thelma Imogene Ellis, 70, Oklahoma City, formerly of Ada, were 2 p.m. Monday at Criswell Funeral Chapel, Truman Teel and the Rev. Robert Eberle officiated. Burial followed at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Ellis died Nov. 14, 2003, at a Midwest City hospital. She was born Oct. 2, 1933, at Ada to Clarence and Bertha Teel Thurman. She lived in Ada most of her life and attended Latta School.
She and Raymond Ellis were married at Ada in 1960.
Mrs. Ellis was a home health provider and had also worked at the Stratford Nursing Home for 24 years. She was a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by a son, Raymond Dale Thurman, on Jan. 2, 1969.
Survivors include three daughters, Diane Bain and husband Bill, Blanchard, Angie Finn and husband Mike, Charlotte, N.C., and Michelle Cobb, Oklahoma City; four sons, Kennith Ellis, Oklahoma City, Terry Ellis Ratto and wife Donna, Byars, Jerry Ellis and wife Kristy, Sand Springs, Burnie Ellis, Oklahoma City; a sister, Doris Cathey, Austin, Texas; two brothers, Dennis Thurman, Ada, Don Thurman, Tulsa; 11 grandchildren, Amanda Henderson, Tony Ratto, Teri Grace Ratto, Brandon Cobb, Stephen Cobb, Logan Cobb, Jacob Bain, Laci Bain, Dillon Finn, Anna Finn and Mikayla Finn; and a great-grandchild, Keely Henderson.
Bearers were her grandsons.
Honorary bearers were Bill Bain, Mike Finn and Steve Graham.
