Services for Andrew James Deaton, 95, of Ada are 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. John Henry Lippard will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Deaton passed away Thursday, September 14, 2017 at a local nursing home. He was born November 6, 1921 at the Happyland Community, east of Ada to Foster and Myrtle Hughes Deaton.
He married Bertie Roark in 1946 at Las Vegas, NV. She preceded him in death June 1, 2009 in Ada. Mr. Deaton was a Maintenance Engineer for home maintenance. He was a member of the Pickett Community Free Will Baptist Church and had served in the U. S. Army Air Corps., during World War II.
Survivors include two sons, Ron Deaton and wife Shanda of Ada and Terry Deaton and wife Shirley of Cleveland, TN; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
