Services for Jimmy Glen Daves, 68, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 14, 2022 at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, October 13, 2022.
Mr. Daves passed away Monday, October 10, 2022 in Ada, OK. He was born September 17, 1954 in Bakersfield, CA to Walter Thomas and Gladys Lunnette Bailey Daves.
Mr. Daves married Lois Jean Lancaster, April 4, 1975 in Gainesville, TX and made their home in the Ada area. He was a plumber.
Mr. Daves is survived by wife, Lois Jean, of the home; daughter, Leigha Crow and husband Nick, of Centrahoma, OK; four grandsons, Blaine Ryan, Mason Ryan, Coby Crow and Levi Crow, of Centrahoma; six sisters, Janet Ruppe and husband Rick, of Wynnewood, OK, Elizabeth Davis, of Yukon, OK, Barbara Smith, of Ada, OK, Annette Daves, of Ada, OK, Nancy Hinton and husband Rick, of Madill, OK and Linda Daves, of Wynnewood, OK; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Thomas and Gladys Lunnette Daves; brothers, Thomas Daves and Michael Daves and sister, Marilyn Furr.
Bearers are Danny Gore, Jim Gore, Billy Johnson, Eric Johnson, Clint Lancaster, Stephen Rice, Ricky Ruppe, Jay Furr and Denny Furr. Honorary bearers are Ernie Sheppard, Thomas Groves, Wayne Lancaster, Tim Price, Rick Ruppe, Rick Hinton, Bobby Johnson and Chuck Furr.
