Graveside services for Paul Aubrey Coplin, 86, of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Memorial Park Cemetery in Ada, Rev. Dan Cusher will officiate.
Mr. Coplin passed away Thursday, July 28, 2016 at an Oklahoma City hospital. He was born March 3, 1930 in Ada to Paul James and Margie Underhill Coplin. He attended Irving Grade School, was part of the Ada High School graduating class of 1948 and graduated from East Central University with an Industrial Arts Degree.
He married Norma Jean “Jeannie” Oliver June 17, 1955. They were married for 61 years. Mr. Coplin was an employee of Forester Manufacturing for 15 years. He was a Supervisor with General Tire and later a Real Estate Agent with Wayne Maxwell and Fireball Evans.
Survivors include his wife, Norma Jean “Jeannie”, of the home; one son, Mike Coplin of Ardmore; one brother, Ken Coplin and his wife Sue of Piedmont; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him. We trust that he is in heaven now with “all of his beloved dogs”.
