Graveside services for Norma Jean Coplin, 85, of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Memorial Park Cemetery, Rev. Randy Wade will officiate.

Mrs. Coplin passed away Thursday, October 11, 2018 at a Davis nursing home. She was born July 22, 1933 at Ada to Edgar W. and Josie Perry Oliver. She attended Ahloso grade school, Sequoyah Indian School in Tahlequah, and Haskell Institute in Lawrence, KS. She also attended Draughn’s Business College in Oklahoma City.

She married Paul Coplin June 17, 1955 in Sand Springs. He preceded her in death July 28, 2016. Mrs. Coplin was a longtime employee at Brockway Glass Company from 1955 until retiring in 1989 as the Executive Secretary. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and later moved her letter of faith to Harmony Free Will Baptist Church. Jeannie was a woman of great faith and an avid reader.

Survivors include a son, Michael Coplin of Ardmore; and a sister, Josephine Leonard of Houston, TX; and many loving friends.
