Services for Bette Ruth Perkey Cole, 95, of Ada, are 10:00 AM on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at First Presbyterian Church; Rev. Claud Baltimore and Rev. David Gray will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Cole passed away Saturday, March 9, 2024, at her home. She was born October 15, 1928, in Elk City to Orval K. and Ruth E. Johnson Wilson.

On September 8, 1945, she married J.R. Perkey, in Sayre, OK. He preceded her in death October 19, 1977. She married Vestel Cole, January 29, 1982, in Ada. Mrs. Cole was the co-owner of Perkey’s Texaco. She also worked for Evergreen Mills, and Montgomery Ward. She was an AARP Tax aide for 30 years.

Survivors are her husband, Vestel Cole, of the home; son, Jack W. Perkey and his wife, Dania; two daughters, Robyn Dunnagan and Penny McCain; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Perkey; brother, Bob Davis; eight grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and 8 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded by her parents; husband, J.R. Perkey; two sons, Jimmy Ray Perkey and Johnny Perkey; and brother, David K. Davis.
