Services for Sally M. Bowers, 85, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Cross Cut Cowboy Church, Pastor Dan McGehee will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Bowers passed away Saturday, June 29, 2019 at her home. She was born July 8, 1933 at Bennington, OK to Claude “Shorty” and Ethel Cox Anderson. She graduated from Bennington High School and Draughn’s Business School in Dallas. She also attended East Central University.

She married Robert W. Bowers in 1958. He preceded her in death August 4, 2008.

Mrs. Bowers was a homemaker and later she worked as an insurance clerk.

Survivors include two sons, Wesley Bowers and Don Bowers and wife Patty, both of Ada; a daughter, Nancy Bowers, Ada; sister, Jewell Norris, Wylie, TX; and a brother, Hubert Anderson, Wylie, TX.
